Shadow Box Presentation
Hall of Remembrance Museum
February 1st, 2019

Two Perth area men were honoured at our Hall of Remembrance Museum today, with the presentation of shadow boxes which have been crafted by MWO (Ret) Ken Miles, MMM, CD, of Pembroke.

In the first photo, a shadow box in memory of CWO (Ret) Ernest Joseph Hall, MMM, MSM, CD, was presented to the museum by siblings of Ernie Hall - Lisa Anderson, Peter Hall and Sue Robertson. On the left is museum Curator John Gemmell, and on the right Stacey Niceliu, Sgt-At-Arms for Perth Legion. Ernie was struck and killed by a motorist in Jan. 2015. He served more than 38 years over many war zones with The Royal Canadian Regiment

Second photo: shadow box in memory of Maj (Ret) Eric Devlin, CD, was presented by Eric's widow, Marilyn Devlin, and son Eric Jr. On the left is museum Curator John Gemmell, and on the right Stacey Niceliu, Sgt-At-Arms for Perth Legion. Eric Devlin passed away on Christmas Day, 2018. He served a total of more than 42 years in the Canadian Army, mostly with The Royal Canadian Regiment, in several war zones.

Both men were jumpers, and highly esteemed by both brothers-in-arms, and residents of Lanark and Perth, Ontario.

The shadow boxes will be on display at our museum from this date. RIP brave soldiers.
